Jews for Jesus Canada values greatly the relationships developed across Canada and the world and seeks to protect the personal information that you share with us, being accountable in how we handle your personal information. Jews for Jesus Canada is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the personal information entrusted to us by our website users, donors, supporters, employees and others.
Jews for Jesus Canada is a not-for-profit charity, federal registration number 107535023RR0001, and may not be under specific statutory obligation with respect to the protection of the information that you provide to us, depending on where you live. Whether or not any statute applies, our privacy practices are guided by and based on generally accepted privacy principles, as further outlined in this Privacy Policy. Our Terms and Conditions form part of this Privacy Policy.

“Personal Information” for purposes of this Policy means any information/data about an identifiable individual. are not considered to be personal information and therefore not treated so by us.
The Personal Information ThatWe Collect
Personal Information collected by Jews for Jesus Canada may include your name, address, email address, phone number, province, postal code, and other contact information to verify your identify, credit card or bank account or other payment information for donation purposes or for purchasing online products, for registering for any service, information related to the countries or programs that you may wish to support, language preferences, demographic information such as age and gender, communication preferences for marketing purposes, giving, engagement and donation history, details about your engagement experience, behavioral activity and other personal and non-personal information which has been provided by you or your use through your use of our Site, or by third parties.
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Site.Usage data may include information such as your device's internet protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. When you access by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Consent to collect your personal information can be obtained in person, via telephone, mail, through the Internet, through third parties and through various activities and engagement by you with Jews for Jesus Canada.

We collect personal information that you give us directly when you engage us in person, use our website or printed forms, or telephone our offices to:

No mobile information will be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Any Jews for Jesus international staff or volunteers who have access to your data for systems administration purposes are bound by the same levels of confidentiality as Jews for Jesus Canada staff. If we run an event in collaboration with another named organization, we may need to share your details with them and those who provide services to help us deliver the event.
We use your personal data to provide and improve use of theSite, and for any other lawful purpose not already identified.
We only collect and use your personal information when we have a legitimate reason for doing so. Jews for Jesus Canada does not rent or sell, barter or lease donor, membership or other fundraising lists nor engage in commercial activities. With personal information to any other organization, we may share information with our employees, other Jews for Jesus offices internationally and/or third-party service providers for the purposes of verifying an individual’s identity, to provide support and to complete a financial transaction. When this occurs, we supply only the information that is required to provide the services, and strict terms of confidentiality are established. We may also share personal information where required by law.
Mailing Lists and Newsletters
Jews for Jesus Canada delivers communications to interested individuals through both postal mail and electronic means. Personal information provided to us by you will be used for delivering these communications. At anytime you may choose to opt-out of these communications. Jews for Jesus Canada will only add individuals to newsletters or communications with expressed consent, or implied consent in certain situations, such as when the individual has made a donation or been a member of or volunteer with Jews for Jesus Canada, or otherwise in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). All staff are trained in best practices to combat spam and the threats it can carry (such as malware and spyware), such as not clicking on suspicious links, and keeping contact emails confidential.

Access, Correct or Delete yourPersonal Information
Subject to various limitations, you should be able to know the personal information that Jews for Jesus Canada has and for what use it has been made. You may request this information, and have the opportunity to correct information that is incorrect or inaccurate, and request deletion of your personal information in our possession, unless retention by us is required by law. Withdrawal of Consent
When you give us consent to collect and use your personal information, you can at any time withdraw consent, subject to some restrictions, by notifying us using the email address below in the ‘Contact Us’ section. Children and the Website
